I’m Dave a retired engineer from the UK. Since I retired from my full time occupation I have had the time to pursue and develop my passion for photography and in particular for wildlife photography; that being said I am also making progress into what I would consider to be the second most popular genre, landscape photography.

The great appeal of photography for me is the fact that to take great photographs you have to be in the right place at the right time. So getting outdoors is crucial. For wildlife you really need to be in the right place at either dawn or dusk when most wildlife is active. Dawn and dusk is also the best time of day for Landscape photography, when shadows are long and contrast is optimised but lighting is golden and soft maximising texture and depth.

I just love the great outdoors and hope that you find that this is reflected in my photography.
